These earrings fit nicely into the "natural collection." They are large tear drop shaped shell earrings with cool bumps and blisters. They are wrapped with S.S. plated wire.

Filigree butterfly

This copper wire butterfly is a work in progress. I have the basic structure down, now I just need to make it more stable and decorate it. Still gathering the colors I want. It is a rather large Pendant. I will share pictures as it progresses along.

All moved

It never gets any easier having to move. We finally got everything all moved into our new home. It was smaller so we had to downsize a bit. Finding a place for so much stuff. Yikes! I can finally unpack all my jewelry supplies and begin creating. Right before the move I did some jewelry demonstrations at the local fair every evening. Wasn't allowed to sell anything during the demos but did get to hand out lots of business cards and share my work. A good way to advertise and make some extra $.

Limon'

"Limon"

This crocheted necklace reminds me of a bowl of juicy limes and lemons. It is adorned with sparkling green glass beads, yellow Swarovski crystals. It measures approximately 18 inches and has a handmade copper hook & clasp. Notice my cat Pepe once again all up in my space. He walked in view right when I snapped the shot. :)

"Arianrhod"

"Arianrhod": (Welsh) Goddess of the moon and stars, her silver represents karma, the Wheel of the Year and the web of fate. She is usually depicted as a pale skinned, fair haired Goddess Arianrhod is keeper of the circling Silver Wheel of Stars, a symbol of time. Call on Arianrhod to help you with past life memories and difficulties as well as for contacting the Star People. In the Avalonian Tradition Arianrhod corresponds with Fire Elementals and the 3rd (heart) chakra. Her symbols include:.A Silver Wheel, The Moon ,The Stars, The Corona Borealis, Seasonal Rites, Fertility, Reincarnation, Regeneration, The Cycle of Birth/Death/ReBirth, Weaving.
I made this moon goddess pendant from copper wire and Swavorski crystals. It has both iridescent lavender crystals and ice blue crystals. A sparkly moon hovers over a free form like moon goddess .

The curious cat

The most peculiar thing happened today while I was sitting at my jewelry desk. I was working on a pendant and my cat Pepe jumped up to snoop around. This isn't out of the ordinary, he's always bumblin' around knocking things over ..moving my beads around.:) I looked over and he was eating something. I can't believe it! He was eating my little balls of melted silver. I had them sitting on top of a brick. He had already ate a couple before I noticed. My boyfriend asked me if I was going to search for them when he went to the bathroom. LOL..No, I'll considerate it a loss. I hope he doesn't get sick.

Local Fair

I'm getting excited about this year's fair. My honey and I are both going to be doing art demonstrations at the local fair. He is going to be painting in Oils and I am going to make jewelry. We get to demo about 2 hrs every day so I can mix it up and make wire jewelry and crochet jewelry. I need to reorganize my tackle box before the event. I want to take lots of pictures and meet new people. This is a great way to advertise my work.:)

blessings to all,

"Aditi "

Aditi - a Hindu Goddess from India, keeper of the light that illuminates all life and ensures consciousness. She gave birth to the universe and the heavenly bodies. This Piece captures the colors of the sun. It has a bit of an Eastern feel to it, thus the name of a Hindu Goddess.

It is a mosaic pendant made with copper wire and bold Swarovski crystals.

The natural collection

I'm working on a variety of necklaces and chokers crocheted with cord, gemstones and beads. They are very light, comfortable and perfect for summer. I will post more pictures as I finish them. This one has Yellow Chalcedony briolettes, red Jade, amethyst and jasper. There are a couple of events coming up next month that I am participating in and I want to have some pieces ready to display.

Blessings to all,

Terry

Boiled eggs

I've been wanting to try this stinky project for a while. :) I found some info online about oxidizing my Sterling silver jewelry naturally with boiled eggs instead of harsh
chemicals. The results were successful. I made some earrings with some large black Labradorite tear drop stones wrapped in a simple sterling silver wire setting. All I had to do was boil an egg, crack and peel it and then chop it up. I placed it in a plastic container with a tight fitting lid along with my earrings. The eggs need to be hot. I I left them for about 15-20 minutes and took them out. They were changing color already but, I wanted them darker. I removed the earrings, and placed the container with eggs in the microwave for about 15 secs(depends on the power of your micro wave) I put the earring back in, gave it a little shake and covered them back up. I did this a couple of times until I got the results I wanted. The silver turned a pretty blueish black, almost a gun metal color.
