Copper cross pendant

This is a copper cross with hematite beads that I wire wrapped for my little nephew last weekend. The center is wrapped with hand torched head pins. The heat gives them a beautiful rosy color.

flea market finds

I am big on hunting for treasures. I love frequenting thrift stores, flea markets and yard sales. Tools and jewelry supplies can be very pricey especially for those just starting out. I am always trying to find ways to save money and time when creating. Fortunately for me, my hunny is very creative, as well and is quick to think "outside of the box." Here are few things in my inventory. The old chain came from a local thrift store. The Steel block came was lying by the side of the railroad tracks. I had a local steel place cut and my hunny polished it. Looks like it needs a polish again.:) The steel rod came from a flea market and works good as a mandrel for shaping wire. Happy hunting!:)

Hello sunshine

You have been missed my friend. Finally, my muddy swamp of a back yard can try and dry up. Maybe, I can grow grass once again. :) I can feel myself healing already. The body really does need sunshine. For those in California, enjoy the sunshine!!For those getting pounded with cold and snow, I send rays of sunshine your way and warm vibes.:)

I am glad to report, I finally ironed out the kinks in my blog. I couldn't figure out for the longest time why other people could not post a comment. It turned out to be a corrupt html code in my widgets. I apologize to anyone who encountered difficulties.

Blessings,
Terry
