is a color halfway between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764. The focal bead is a large yellow/green Agate that is wrapped with black, oxidized, steel wire. This necklace started out with a completely different look. Originally, I wire wrapped the large Agate with the netted technique. I had problems with the mechanics of how the segments joined together. The bead has a twisted like cut to it and doesn't lay flat therefore, making for an uneven wire frame. I ended up cutting it apart and rejoining all the pieces. I am pleased with the end results. The opaque , yellow beads are dyed yellow jade. There is also two onyx nuggets wired to the frame along with faceted, yellow, glass beads.
