Earrings for Christmas

It's time to make an array of wire wrapped earrings for the holidays. Aluminum wire is very popular since larger earrings can be made without the extra weight. I like to mix different types of wires together. The first pair is made from copper colored aluminum and wrapped with copper wire. Hand torched rose colored head pins add a splash of color.

The second pair is made from black oxidized steel wire. I call these Katydids. They remind me of  insects. :)

  3. I might be in love with the Katydids pair. I love the color and shape; like you said, they look like insects, and I'm all for a little nature hanging from my ears ;-)
