Steel and Stone necklace

This necklace has a industrial "feel" to it. It is full of color, depth and textures. I used annealed black steel wire in 2 gauges and roughly weaved it together. Afterwards, I wired an assorted mixture of stones such as ; agates, jaspers, dyed jades, citrine, amethysts, rose quartz and coral to the frame. Once in place, I wrapped the stones once again in random fashion with 24 Ga. wire. I used a chunky antiqued finished brass chain to hang it from. A brass and black heart charm dangles from the bottom of the pendant.
