Comment problems

I recently changed my blogger template. I really hate to have to change it again but, I have had one of my followers/friends tell me she cannot post a comment on my blog. I sure hope I can fix the problem. If any of you  seem to have a problem putting a comment on my page..could you please message me by email to let me know. Periwinkle

This little guy is part of my owl collection. He is also wire wrapped and coiled in copper wire. His eyes are decorated with  carnelian beads and blue Lapis. The heart shaped body has blue faceted glass beads.

Hermes

Hermes is the great Messenger of the gods in Greek mythology as well as a guide to the underworld.He has also been said to be a bringer of dreams to the mortals.

When this design popped in my head, I couldn't wait to make it. I've always loved owls and wanted to make my own. He is wire wrapped and coiled in copper wire. His big eyes are adorned with tiny chocolate seed beads and centered with a carnelian stone bead. The body is a pretty brass heart shaped charm.

Key Of Passion

This key pendant is made from copper wire. I wire wrapped and coiled 3 circles together. The rest of the key is coiled and weaved. The inside of the key is adorned with red Swarovski and a black faceted Hematite bead, The outside is wired with tiny silver glass seed beads. It hangs from a simple Chocolate colored ribbon. I hope to make more to add to my collection.:)

Seahorse

I just finished this copper wire mosaic pendant tonight. It is wire wrapped with copper wire, garnets, blue, purple and smokey champagne  swarovski crystals. nestled among aqua quartz is a silver toned seahorse. It also is decorated with copper filigree and burgundy glass seed beads.

I terribly miss holding my tools in my hands and the feel of my wire bending and twisting. I can't wait to get to playing with some beads, copper and pliers. I caught the dreaded winter cold/flu and it has knocked me on my butt. It hit me on Christmas day and is still going strong. I've come to the conclusion, I might as well just wait until after the first to dive into any new projects. For now, I will rest, dream of new designs and try and have a fun New Years Eve. I wish everyone a  healthy Happy New Year!!

Crocheted sparkle

This necklace is crocheted with tan/rust colored cord decorated with faceted iridescent beads. It measures approximately 31 inches. A great addition to wear with jeans or a sweater. It can also be doubled and worn as a choker.

Celtic Green

I made this necklace with copper wire and green opaque peridot glass beads. The chain is loopy which gives it a Celtic feel. It is unsymmetrical in design with copper chain on one side and green beads on the other. It can also be clasped into the loop link and worn as Y- necklace.

Curvy moonstone

I have an addiction to copper wire. I love making shapes, chains, pendants and sculptures from it. I made this chain from copper wire and added large moonstone beads between the curvy links. This necklace is very simply and pretty but is also comfortable to wear. I plan to get heavier gauge wire for a more chunky looking chain in my future projects.

Crazy S earrings

These copper wire earrings are S shaped and match the crazy S bracelet below. They have Blue dyed jade discs, moonstones and blue faceted glass bead dangles. These are real attention grabbers!

Bending Time

"Bending Time" This contest was the perfect time for me to gather all my broken odds and ends and recycle them into a new piece. This mosaic pendant holds different memories from different people in my life. I had broken jewelry that I kept from my grandmother, mother and even my daughters grandma. I've always wanted to make something from that old broken Bulova watch.:) You can even see the tiny rubies embedded in the watch. All the copper findings are hand bent, twisted, wrapped and hammered. I've taken a brass filgree end cap and flattened and reshaped it into a rose bud accented with a red Swarovski crystal. I have added garnet chips to add color and richness. Little seed beads are swirled and weaved into the pendant for depth. This pendant hangs from a velvet rope cord to give it a royal look. So even though the pieces, parts and beads may be inexpensive, there is a lot of time and love in this pendant.

Bubbles

This design was inspired by bubbles. I made this necklace at the end of summer. I love how bubbles capture a rainbow of iridescent colors. I only used my round nosed pliers and a marker to form the groups of circles. The pink shells and Swarovski crystals fit perfectly inside the circles to splash my bubbles with color. The chain is made from crocheted copper wire with little pink glass beads. The clasp was hand made from copper. It's amazing how much you save when you make all of your own findings.

Rose

The necklace is made with black antique beads, Swarovski crystal rings, silver seed beads and a large silver rose center piece. Very pretty for the holidays or an evening out on the town.

"circles"

This is another necklace from my "circles" collection. It is hand made from copper wire and decorated with antique red glass beads. It is a work in progress piece. I'll post the finished necklace when it's done. Necklace is all done.:)

Crystal Shell

This is a Crystal shell that dangles inside of a copper wire wrapped ring. It hangs from a black velvet cord.

Amethyst bracelets

The first bracelet is a double strand amethyst bracelet with facetted purple beads. The second one is hand made from copper wire and joined with amethyst beads.
The links have a Celtic look.

Goddess

This is a special necklace I made for a friend. Her favorite colors are red and pink. It is her very own goddess.

Fiesta

This necklace is crocheted with black cord and has shell beads, green and red glass beads.

Tree of Life

This a my first attempt at making a wire tree of life. It has assorted stone chips of jasper and autumn colored glass. It hangs from a tan cord.

This is a hand made copper wire bangle decorated with glass beads.

Aurora

This necklaces has the colors the golden sun and deep purple amethyst. It reminds me of a painting called,
Morning(De Morgan)by Phillip Otto Runge. 1808

radiance, like the fiery corona of the Sun. The corona

I made this mosaic with copper wire. It is decorated with a female button, moonstones, crystals, red glass. It hangs from a leather cord.

"Midori"

Midori is the Japanese word for "green." I love the color of these Howlite nuggets. They have different shades of greens ranging from lime sherbert to Kelly green. There is also lime faceted glass beads and green swarovski crystals. The color green is also associated with emotions, money, and has healing power. The choker measures approximately 16 inches in length and can be doubled to fit perfectly around the wrist as a bracelet. It has a ornate, silver toned, magnetic clasp which is strong and durable for these chunky nuggets.

Shell Earrings

These earrings fit nicely into the "natural collection." They are large tear drop shaped shell earrings with cool bumps and blisters. They are wrapped with S.S. plated wire.

Filigree butterfly

This copper wire butterfly is a work in progress. I have the basic structure down, now I just need to make it more stable and decorate it. Still gathering the colors I want. It is a rather large Pendant. I will share pictures as it progresses along.

All moved

It never gets any easier having to move. We finally got everything all moved into our new home. It was smaller so we had to downsize a bit. Finding a place for so much stuff. Yikes! I can finally unpack all my jewelry supplies and begin creating. Right before the move I did some jewelry demonstrations at the local fair every evening. Wasn't allowed to sell anything during the demos but did get to hand out lots of business cards and share my work. A good way to advertise and make some extra $.

This crocheted necklace reminds me of a bowl of juicy limes and lemons. It is adorned with sparkling green glass beads, yellow Swarovski crystals. It measures approximately 18 inches and has a handmade copper hook & clasp. Notice my cat Pepe once again all up in my space. He walked in view right when I snapped the shot. :)
