Butterscotch Pendant

This is another recycled piece. It is made from copper wire with a weaving technique design that I found from

Nancy Wickman's online blog . She has a great tutorial on her blog. I changed up her design a bit and added my own little touches. :) The frame hangs from an old toggle piece. I added a swarovski crystal bead in the middle of the weaved frame. A beautiful, butterscotch, Chalcedony briolette dangles below. This necklace is approximately 18 inches in length.

Masquerade

Masks are always so mysterious and intriguing.  I made this mini masquerade mask from copper wire. After drawing out different sections on paper, I began to shape the components with different gauges of wire. I used 20 Ga., 21 Ga., 26 Ga. and 28 Ga. I decorated it with yellow glass beads, silver glass seed beads and swarovski crystals. It measures 4 inches by 2 inches. In fact, it fits perfectly over my little doggie's eyes. :)

Aurora

This necklaces has the colors the golden sun and deep purple amethyst. It reminds me of a painting called,
Morning(De Morgan)by Phillip Otto Runge. 1808
Aurora appears in the mists of the early-morning dawn. You look into
her eyes and see her innocence! She reaches out, and
her finger touches your heart, and you sense the golden
radiance, like the fiery corona of the Sun. The corona
around the Sun – does it remind us of the coronary
arteries surrounding the heart? Corona is the Greek
word for a crown or a garland of flowers. ~~~ by Nick Kollerstrom
