It's time to make an array of wire wrapped earrings for the holidays. Aluminum wire is very popular since larger earrings can be made without the extra weight. I like to mix different types of wires together. The first pair is made from copper colored aluminum and wrapped with copper wire. Hand torched rose colored head pins add a splash of color.
The second pair is made from black oxidized steel wire. I call these Katydids. They remind me of insects. :)
Unleash your inner goddess. Women have adorned their bodies with art all through out history. Why not display external charms that compliment your inner charms.

Chalcedony earrings
I am very pleased with how these earrings turned out. I got the wonderful tut online from Nancy Wickman They are from her woven earrings tutorial. I did change them up a little bit and added yummy blue chalcedony briolettes. They are very long and swingy. :) Check out Nancy Wickman's blog at
